if the perimeter of the the given rectangle is 10 cm and length of one of it sides is 2 cm what be other side​

As the parallel sides of rectangle are equal, therefore its perimeter = 2(length) + 2(height)

Now take 6cm to either length or height.

Then a triangle would be formed, actually a right triangle have hypotenuse as 10cm and say length as 6cm, now use Pythagoras theorem ,

10²= 6²+A²

A= 8cm

Then put it in the above equation of perimeter.

Perimeter= 2(6)+2(8)

Perimeter = 28cm
