If the perimeter of triangle is given by 3x-y+6 and two of it sides are given by 4x-9 and 12y-x+8 find its 3rd side. 0​

Answer:

Perimeter is nothing but sum all sides of triangle

therefore

3x-y+6 = 4x-9 + 12y-x+8 + z where z = 3rd side of triangle

3x-y+6 = 3x + 12y -1 +z

z = -y - 12y + 3x - 3x + 6+1

z = -13y +7
