Answer:Frequency is halved is we double the period of object motion.

Explanation:

Time period of motion is inversely proportional to the frequency of       motion.

 ν ∝ 1/ Τ

where ν =frequency

     T = time period

Given : T = doubled

    i.e. T₂ = 2T

so

ν₂ = 1 / T₂

  ν ₂= 1/ 2T

 ν₂ = ν/2

Hence frequency is half as large.
