If the point (3, 4) lie on the graph of the linear equation 3y = kx + 6, then find
the value of k.​

then the equation will be , satisfied by the point.

Now, put x = 3 and y = 4 in given equation, we get

3(4) = k (3)+7

⇒ 12 = 3k+7

⇒ 3k = 12 – 7

⇒ 3k = 5

Hence, the value of k is 5/3.
