3×4=a×3+7

12=3a+7

3a=5

a=5/3

So y=(ax+7)/3
Substituting values of x and y , x=3 , y=4 from the given co-ordinates
4=(a*3+7)/3
12=a*3+7
12-7=3a
5=3a
a=5/3
