Fourth quadrant means the resulting X should be in +ve and Y should be negative so we had to pick 'a' which is suitable for both the condition...
1. If a= 3 then the point lies on Y axis
2.if a=5 point lies on X axis
3. If 4...(1,-1) which lies in 4th quadrant
Therefore a should be greater than 3 and less than 5.. And which is equal to 4
