If p is equidistant from the point Q(a+b,b-a) and R(a-b,a+b) then p divides the line in the same ratio.

Then, by applying mid point theorem:

X= (a+b)+(a-b)/2

and, Y=(b-a) + (a+b)/2

X= 2a/2=a and Y= 2b/2=b

Hence, the coordinates of p are (a,b)
