given (3,5) lies on line ax+by+7=0.....eqn 1... by substituting x=3 and y=5 in eqn 1 we get 3a+5b+7=0 and also (1,4) lies on the same line so the second eqn iz a+4b+7=0 by solving the equations swe get a=1 and b=-2
