Distance of AB=square root of (8-6)^2 +(2-1)^2
=squr root of 5 (mark it as equation 1)

Distance of CD=squr root of (p-9)^2 + (3-4)^2
=(p-9)+1 (equation 2)

since given that taken in order of vertices of a parallelogram,
distance of AB= distance of CD
by equating the values in the above equation
the p=8squr root of 5
