parallelogram PQRS, find the values of a and b.​

Solution:-

Diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.

So the mid point of diagonal PR and mid point of diagonal QS coincide.

We have mid point formula,

p (x, y) =(x¹+x²/2 ,y¹+y²/2)

It implies that =a +2/2 =5 +1/2

or a+ 2 =6

or a =4

Similarly b +1/2 = -11 +15/2

or b +1 =4

or b =3

Required answer ,a =4 and b=3
