Collinearity of three points:


Three points are said to be collinear if area of the triangle formed by these three points is zero.


Let A(x1,y1), B (x2,y2), & C(x3,y3) be three points. Then A, B & C will be collinear if


Area of ∆ABC=0

Or


x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)=0
