Given :- If the polynomial x³ - 4x + 6 is divided by

(2 - x²) , then what will be the quotient and remainder ?

Solution :-

dividing by long divison method we get,

- x² + 2 ) x³ - 4x - 6 ( - x

x³ - 2x

(-2x - 6)

so, we get,

→ Quotient = (-x)

→ Remainder = (-2x - 6)
