Answer:

let \:  \: p(x) =  {ax}^{3}  +  {4x}^{3}  + 3x -  {4x}^{3}  + a = 0

Now,

(x - 3) = 0

x = 3

Putting the value of x in p(x) :

p(x) =  {ax}^{3}  +  {4x}^{3}  + 3x -  {4x}^{3}  + a = 0

a {(3)}^{3}  + 4 {(3)}^{3}  + 3(3) - 4 {( 3)}^{3}  + a = 0

27a + 108 + 9 - 108 + a = 0

27a + a + 9 = 0

28a =  - 9

a = -9/28

Ans. -9/28

Hope it helps.
