x⁴ + 2x³ + 8x² + 12x + 18  divided by x²+ 5
THEN REMAINDER COMES OUT TO BE =2X+ 3
QUOTIENT COMES TO BE  = x² + 2x + 3
EQUATING ACCORDING TO QUESTION
px + q  =  2x+ 3
THEREFORE P= 2 AND Q = 3
