This question can be easily solved by applying the formulae :-
=> P = F v
here : P = Power. F = Force. v =Velocity .
Given in the question :
• Power = 40 kW = > 40 × 1000 = 40000 W
• Force = 20000 N
putting values in formulae :
=> 40000 = 20000 × v
=> v = 40000 / 20000
=> Velocity = 2 m/s

Hey
Power = 40 kW = 40000 W , Force = 20,000 N
As, Power= force x velocity
∴ 40,000 = 20,000 x v
⇒ v = 40,000/ 20,000
⇒ v = 2 m/s
Therefore at the speed of 2 m/s speed can raise a loud of 20,000 N.
Hope it helps to you.
