Given:

Power of Motor = 50 KW

Load = 4000 N

To find:

Speed at which that object can be raised by the Motor

Concept:

Power is defined as the instantaneous rate of doing work. In other words we can say that power is the ratio of work done to the time taken to do the work.

Mathematically , we can also represent power in a different form :

 \boxed{ \bold{power = force \times velocity}}

Calculation:

 \sf{ \therefore \:  \: power = force \times velocity}

 =  > 50000 = 4000 \times v

 =  > v =  \dfrac{50000}{4000}

 =  > v =  \dfrac{50}{4}

 =  > v = 12.5 \: m {s}^{ - 1}

So final answer :

Velocity With which load can be raised is 12.5 m/s.

Answer:

1kW=1000W

∴50kW=50000W

Power P=F.v (where F is the force and v is the velocity)

      50000=4000.v

 therefore, speed v=50000/4000=12.5 m/s
