To find:

Sum of their ages 6 years ago

Solution:

Age of Ram 6 years ago =( x -6 )years

Age of Ramesh 6 years ago =( y-6) years

Sum of their ages 6 years ago = (x-6+y-6) years

= (x+y -12 )yrs
