If the price of 10 pens = 157 1\2 then the price of 1000 pens

The price of 10 pens = 157¹/2

The price of 1 pen = 157¹/2 ÷ 10

= 315/2 ÷ 10

= 315/2 × 1/10

= 15.75 RS

so the price of 1000 pens = 15.75 × 1000

= 15750 RS
