Answer:

Rs.20

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the prize of one sweet be Rs. x

Let the no. of sweets be y

So total amount spent = xy

Since we are given that the total cost is Rs.900

So,900 =xy   --1 (black line)

Now new price of 1 sweet = Rs. (x -5)

So,  no. of sweet  = y + 15

So total amount spent =(x - 5)(y + 15)

Since we are given that the total amount remained same

900 =(x - 5)(y + 15)   --2 (Red Line)

Plotting these two equations we get the intersection point which is the solution of theses equations is (20,45)

So, x = 20

And x denotes cost of 1 sweet .

So, original price of a sweet is rs.20
