Let the price of 1 kg of sugar be ₹x

Decreased price of the sugar = ₹x - 5

According to question,

Price of 2 kg sugar = ₹x - 5 + 15

= ₹x + 10

Also, Price of 2 kg of sugar = ₹(x -5) × 2

= ₹2x - 10

According to question,

x + 10 = 2x - 10

=> x - 2x = -10-10

=> - x = - 20

=> x = 20.

Therefore, price of sugar = ₹20
