Answer:
Let the Consumption of Sugar before the increased of rate be 1 kg.
Therefore, Expenditure at the Previous Rate = ₹6.00
Expenditure at the increased rate = ₹7.50
Since, In ₹7.50, Sugar obtained = 1 kg
Therefore, In ₹ 6.00 , Sugar obtained
1 - 0.8 = 0.2 kg
Reduction in 1 kg = 0.2 kg
Therefore, Reduction in 100 kg = 0.2 × 100 = 20%
