Answer:

A = ₹3400, SI = ₹900

Step-by-step explanation:

SI = P ×R×T÷100

= 2500×4×9÷100

= 900Rs

Therefore, A = P + SI

= 2500 + 900

= 3400Rs

In context of question asked,

We have to determine the interest and the amount earned on the money.

As per data given,

We have,

P = Rs. 2500

Rate = 4% annum

Time = 9 years.

As we have,

Amount = Principal + SI

While,

SI =\frac{PRT}{100}

So, putting the value of P, R and T in above formula,

We will get,

SI =\frac{2500 \times 4 \times 9}{100}\\SI = Rs.\:900

Hence, value of amount will be Rs.\:2500+Rs.\;900 = Rs.\:3400
