Hi friend
--------------
Your answer
-------------------

Principal = Rs 1200

Time = 6 years

Amount = Rs (2×1200) = Rs 2400

Simple interest = Rs (2400 - 1200) = Rs 1200

Rate of Interest = ?

 \frac{p \times r \times t}{100}  = 1200 \\  \\  \frac{1200 \times r \times 6}{100}  = 1200 \\  \\ r =  \frac{1200 \times 100}{1200 \times 6}  \\  \\ r =  \frac{100}{6}  \\ r = 16.66\%

Therefore
-----------------

Rate of interest = 16.66%

HOPE IT HELPS
