Given that probability of happening of an event P(E) = (5/11).

We know that P(E) + P(not E) = 1.

= > (5/11) + P(not E) = 1

= > P(not E) = 1 - (5/11)

= > P(not E) = (11 - 5)/11

= > P(not E) = 6/11.

Therefore, the probability of not happening an event = (6/11).

Hope this helps!
