P(not E) =1-P(E)
=1-0.99
=0.01

Answer-

The probability of not occurrence of event P(Not E) is 0.99

Solution-

E = event of occurrence

Given,

P(E)=0.99

If F is the event of not occurrence,then the probability of F will be,

P(F)=P(Not\ E)=1-P(E)=1-0.99=0.01

Then, probability of not occurrence of event F will be,

P(Not\ F)=1-P(F)=1-0.01=0.99

Therefore, the probability of not occurrence of event P(Not E) is 0.99
