Let (D/d) be an improper fraction
So , D>d
According to Euclid's Division Lemma, D=dq+r
So , mixed fraction = q (r/d)
Example:- Improper Fraction = 23/7
Here , D= 23 , d= 7
23 = 7*3+2
So , mixed fraction = 3 (2/7)
So , D>d
According to Euclid's Division Lemma, D=dq+r
So , mixed fraction = q (r/d)
Example:- Improper Fraction = 23/7
Here , D= 23 , d= 7
23 = 7*3+2
So , mixed fraction = 3 (2/7)
