Let the other no. Be x

We know that,

LCM×HCF= product of two no.

28125 = x × 125

x= 28125/125

= x = 225.is the other no.

The given question is

If the product of the LCM and HCF is 28125 and one of the numbers is 125,

we have to find the other number.

The given data is product of LCM and HCF is 28125.

One of the number is 125.

LCM is the least common multiplier or the lowest common multiple of two integers a and b , is the smallest positive integers that is divided by both a and b.

The HCF of two or more integers, which all are not zero, the positive integers that divides each of the integer.

we have to find the other number.

As we know already, the product of LCM and HCF is equal to the product of two numbers.

lcm \:  \times hcf = x \times y

LCM x HCF = 28125.

x=125

y =??

substitute the values in the above expression we get

28125 = 125 \times y \\  \frac{28125}{125}  = y \\ 225 = y

Therefore, the answer obtained is 225.

The other number is 225.

let's verify the values

28125 = 125 \times 225

28125 = 28125

LHS = RHS.

Hence verified
