let α and β be the zeroes of the given equation and a,b,c be the coefficients

i. e.

a=1; b= -3 ; c=k-10

these are the given information

α · β = -2

α · β = c/a

-2 = c/a

=> -2 = (k+10)/(1)

=> -2 = k+10

=> k = -12
