xsq.-3x+k=10
xsq.-3x+(k-10)=0
product of roots=c/a
                         =k-10/1
                         =k-10
k-10=-2
k=-2+10
k=8

SARDARshubham: hey, it is linear equation in one variable, hence there will be only one root
mysticd: hi,sardar it is quadratic equation
sumityadav: ya its quadratic eqn bro

x²-3x+k =10
x²-3x (k-10)=0
compare above equation with ax²+bx+c=0

a=1, b=-3,c=k-10
let the roots are α, β

product of the roots = c/a
αβ=k-10/1----(1)
given product = -2----(2)

k-10 =-2
k=-2+10
k=8
