Answer:

for a quadratic equation

ax^2 + bx + c

sum of roots is -b/a

product of roots is c/a

now given eqn is ax^2-6x-6

product = (-6)/a

-6/a=4

a=-6/4=-3/2

sum of root = -b/a= -(-6)/(-3/2) = -4

roots are -2,-2

sum = -2 + -2 =-4

product = -2*-2 =4
