Step-by-step explanation:

let the no be X and Y

step 1. X×Y=360

step 2 . X/Y=10/9

step 3. X=10/9×Y

step 4. put value of X in step 1 then

step 5. Y^2= 360×9/10

step 5. y^2= 36×9

step 6. y=+-18

Answer:

The numbers are 18 and 20

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the numbers are a and b.

According to question-

Ratio of a and b is 10 : 9

\dfrac{a}{b} = \dfrac{10}{9}

Then a = 10x

And b = 9x

Product of two numbers is 360

i.e a × b = 360

10x × 9x = 360

90x^{2} = 360

x^{2} = \dfrac{360}{90}

x^{2} = 4

x = 2

Hence a = 10x

              = 10 × 2

a = 20

b = 9x

  = 9 × 2

b = 18

Hence the numbers are 18 and 20.
