Given :

•p(x)= x² - 3x + ( k - 10 )

• The product of the zeroes = 2 .

To find :

The value of k.

Solution :

• P(x) = x² - 3x + ( k-10)

Compare the equation with ax² + bx + c we get :

• a = 1

• b = -3

•c = k-10

As we know that :

Product of Zeroes = c/a

=> 2 =( k-10)/1

=> 2 = k- 10

=> k = 2 + 10

=> k = 12 .

Hence , the value of k is 12 .

product = c/a

2 = k-10/1

=k = 12
