product of roots given by c/a

give eq. is

=> x²-3x -3 = 12

=> x² -3x -3 -12 =0

=> x²- 3x - 15 = 0

compare with ax² + bx+ c = 0

a = 1 , b = - 3 , c = -15

product of roots = c/a = -15/1 = -15

hence,

a = 1 and product of roots = -15
