Hi there!
Here's the answer:

•°•°•°•°•°<><><<>><><>°•°•°•°•°

We have
Sum of all probabilities is equal to one
i.e., P(S) = 1

If A is an Event and
A' indicates non occurrence of Event A

Sum of probabilities of occurrence of Event A and Not A = 1
=> P(A) + P(A') = 1
=> P(A') = 1 - P(A)

Given,
P(A) = 5/13

To find: P(A')

P(A') = 1 - P(A)
= 1 - (5/13)
= 8/13

•°• probability of not A P(A') = 8/13
