threefriends: yes
sprao534: the points are not end points of diameter
dugarsuzal79pdg6h4: It is passing from it Centre fool
sprao534: control your language my dear boy. i am not a student
sprao534: if it passes through centre what is the mid point
dugarsuzal79pdg6h4: Ok I m sorry
dugarsuzal79pdg6h4: But see diameter diveds into two equal radius
dugarsuzal79pdg6h4: So it will be mid point
sprao534: if it passes through the centre, mid point=(4+2)/2,(3+y)/2.
sprao534: (3,3+y/2) is not equal to (2,3)

Radius =v(4-2)^2 +(3-3)^2 =v(4+0)=2

V(2-2)^2 +(3-y)^2 =2

(3-y)^2 =4

3-y=+-(2)

Y=5 or1

threefriends: thanks for trying but the answer is 3 . thanks anyway .
sprao534: how y=3?
threefriends: by finding the distance formula for b&o we get root(y^2-6y
threefriends: +9)
sprao534: distance OA=OB.
threefriends: yes
threefriends: 4=root((x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2)
threefriends: by finding the distance formula for b&o we get root(y^2-6y+9) then we get y^2 -3y-3y+9 then then by solving them we get y=3.
dugarsuzal79pdg6h4: Yes nice bro u understand
