hey mate !!

here is u r answer !!

in the questions given ,

upper radius of frustum of cone is R is equal to 17cm.

lower radius of a frustum of s cone are equal to r 15cm.

and it's height of frustum of cone is H equal to 4cm.

we know that there be find the slant height of frustum of cone .

using formula

 {l}^{2} = \sqrt{ {h}^{2} + (R - {r})^{2} } \\ \\ \sqrt{ {4}^{2} + ( {17} - 15)^{2} } \\ \\ \sqrt{16 + 9} \\ \\ \sqrt{25} \\ \\ = 5cm

therefore the required slant height of frustum is 5cm.

hope it's help you.

SOLUTION

Frustum of a cone

Given,

Radii (r1)= 17cm

Radii (r2)=15cm

Height= 4cm

Slant height of frustum is;

  =  > l =  \sqrt{ {h}^{2}  + (r1 - r2) {}^{2} }  \\  =  >  \sqrt{ {4}^{2} + (17 - 15) {}^{2}  }  \\  =  >  \sqrt{16 + {2}^{2} }  \\  =  >  \sqrt{16 + 4 }  \\  =  >  \sqrt{20}

=) 25cm

hope it helps ☺️
