if the radius and height of a cylinder are doubled how does this affect the lateral surface area

So,
We have , r=2r and h=2h
Csa of cylinder = 2πrh

Now putting the values of r and h.

CSA=2π2r2h
=8πrh

Thus the csa will be increased by 4 times.
