If the radius id doubled will the specific resistance change?

R = ¶L÷A

¶=a constant, Resistivity(specific resistance)

L= length of the conductor

A= area of cross section

If the radius of wire is doubled area increases by 4 times R decreases by 4 times

But specific resistance remain same. It is the property of given material

No change in specific resistance as it depends only material and temperature
