If the radius of a circle increased by 20%, by what percent area of the circle will increase?

hey mate
let the radius of circle be 40unit .
then the area of circle be π×40×40unit
and if the radius of the circle increase by 20% then it 48units
so, again area of circle=π×48×48
then,change in percentage of area={(π×48×48)-(π×40×40)}/(π×40×40)}×100
change in %=44%
