If the radius of a circle increases by 6%,what is the percentage increase in its area and circumference

Solution :

Given that, a = 6

According to the formula,

Percentage increase in area

 =  > (2a +  \frac{ {a}^{2} }{100} )

 =  > (2 \times 6  +  \frac{86}{100} )

= (12 + 0.36)%

=12.36%
