Here is your solution
Given :-
Radius of a circle is 2.5 cm
To find area of its semi circle :-
we know that
Area of semi-circle = 1/2 × π× r^2
=> 1/2 × 22/7 × 2.5cm × 2.5cm
=>22/14×6.25
=>9.82 cm^2
Area of semi-circle is 9.82 cm^2
Hope it helps you
