Here ,
- circumference = 2πr
- Area = πr²
If the radius r is doubled ,
- New radius = r × r = r²
- New circumference = 2πr²
- New Area = πr⁴
Hence it is clear that if the radius is doubled then the area and circumference too gets doubled .
