Given :  Radius of a circular arc is doubled

To Find : centripetal force acting on the moving body will be

Solution:

Centripetal force = mass x velocity² / radius

F = mv²/r

F  ∝  1/ r

=> if radius is doubled  then  centripetal force will be halved
