Given :

  • Radius of Cylinder is 5 m.
  • Height of Cylinder is 21 m.

To Find :

  • Curved Surface Area of Cylinder.

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Radius=5m}

\longmapsto\tt{Height=21m}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{C.S.A\:of\:Cylinder=2\pi{rh}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{2\times\dfrac{22}{{\cancel{7}}}\times{5}\times{{\cancel{21}}}}

\longmapsto\tt{2\times{22}\times{5}\times{3}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{660{m}^{2}}

So , The C.S.A of Cylinder is 660 cm².

Given :

  • If the radius of a cylinder is 5m and height of cylinder is 21m

To find :

  • curved surface area of the cylinder.

Solution :

curved surface area of the cylinder = 2πrh ...... (formula)

==> 2 x 22/7 x 5 x 21

==> 2 x 22 x 5 x 3

==> 44 x 15

==> 660 m²

curved surface area of the cylinder is 660 m²

Extra information :

  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h

  • T.S.A of cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²

  • Volume of cone = ⅓ πr²h

  • C.S.A of cone = πrl

  • T.S.A of cone = πrl + πr²

  • Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

  • C.S.A of cuboid = 2(l + b)h

  • T.S.A of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)
