We have :
three spheres of radius 1cm, 8cm ,7cm .
we have to find:
the radius (R) of sphere formed by melting these three spheres .
solution:-
we know that:
volume of sphere → 4/3×πr³
here,
volume of sphere of radius 1cm
= 4/3× π(1)³
= 4/3π
and
volume of sphere of radius 8 cm
= 4/3×π (8)³
= 512×4/3×π
and
volume of sphere of radius 7cm
= 4/3×π (7)³
= 343 ×4/3 ×π
Now.
=> the volume of sphere formed by
melting these spheres → 4/3×πR³
= 4/3π + 512×4/3×π + 343 ×4/3 ×π
=> 4/3×π ( 1+512 +343)
=> 4/3×π ×856
=> 4/3×πR³ = 4/3×π×856
=> R³ = 856
=> R = 9.4949
=>R ≈ 9.5 cm answer
