if the radius of base of a right circular cylinder is halved keeping the height same then the ratio of volume of cylinder thus obtained to the volume of the original cylinder ​

let radius of cylinder be r
vol of original cylinder = pi r^2 h
vol of new cylinder = pi (r/2)^2 h
ratio= r^2:(r/2)^2
=r^2:r^2/2
=1:1/2
=2:1
