let radius of cylinder be r
vol of original cylinder = pi r^2 h
vol of new cylinder = pi (r/2)^2 h
ratio= r^2:(r/2)^2
=r^2:r^2/2
=1:1/2
=2:1
vol of original cylinder = pi r^2 h
vol of new cylinder = pi (r/2)^2 h
ratio= r^2:(r/2)^2
=r^2:r^2/2
=1:1/2
=2:1
