Acceleration due to gravity = g

Therefore ,
g = GM / (R)^2
= GM / (2R)^2
= GM / 4 R^2
= (GM / R^2 ) 4
= 10 / 4 [ ( GM / R^2 ) = 10 m/s^2 ]
= 2.4 m/s^2
