if the radius of the base and height of a right circular cylinder is increased by 25% then the volume will be increased by-

Let the radius and height of the right circular cylinder be 100 cm.

We know that volume = πr^2h

                                     = π(100)^2 * (100)^2

                                     = 1000000π cm^3


Now,

Given that radius of the base and height is increased by 25%.

New volume = π(125)^2 * 125

                     = 1953125π.


Increase in volume = (1953125π - 1000000π)Cm^3

                                = 953125.



Increase% = (953125/1000000) * 100%

                 = 95.3%.


Therefore, the volume is increased by 95.3% - Option(B).
