Answer:

Radius of base of cylinder = 7cm

circumference of base of cylinder = 2πr

= 2×22/7×7 = 44cm

circumference of a circle = breadth

breadth = 44cm

length = 10cm

area of curved surface area = b

= 44×10

= 440 sqcm .

Hope it will helps you.

 \large\bf{ \underline{ \underline{Answer : }}}

 \boxed{\rm{ \underline{(2) \:  440 \: cm^2}}}  \: \checkmark

 \bullet CSA of the cylinder is 440 cm²

Given :

  • Radius of the base of cylinder is 7 cm
  • Height of the cylinder is 10 cm

To Find :

  • CSA (Curved surface area) of the cylinder.

Calculation :

To calculate the curved surface area of cylinder, when radius & height are provided; we'll be using this formula :

 \star{ \boxed{ \rm{ \pmb{ \gray{CSA = 2\pi \: rh}}}}}

Where,

  • Radius = 7 cm
  • Height = 10 cm

 \dag Putting the values,

 :  \implies \sf CSA_{(Cylinder)} = 2\pi \: rh

 :  \implies \sf CSA_{(Cylinder)} = 2 \times  \dfrac{22}{7} \times 7 \: cm \times 10 \: cm

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 :  \implies \sf CSA_{(Cylinder)} = 2 \times 22 \times 10 \: cm

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 :  \implies \sf CSA_{(Cylinder)} = 44 \times 10 \: cm

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 : \implies{ \boxed{\sf CSA_{(Cylinder)} = 440 \: cm^2  }}  \: \purple{ \bigstar}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Therefore, CSA (Curved surface area) of the cylinder is 440 cm². ⠀⠀⠀
