If the radius of the earth reduces to half of its original value ,by how much the duration of the day differs?

it will remain the same if the density doesnt change ..
if the earth shrinks then mass will remain the same in that case
angular momentum will be conserved.
Iw=constant
thus w will become 4 times as I=2/5mr²

thus duration of day will be 6 hrs instead of 24
